There’s more to your education than what happens in the classroom. You need areas to review for a test, refuel between classes, and simply relax and rejuvenate. The Health Education Campus is designed with this in mind.
Dining Spaces
Need to grab a bite between classes and clinicals? Head to the Health Education Kitchen or Press & Bakery to make sure you have healthy options to get you through the day. Visit Dining Services for additional information on campus dining options.
Health Education Campus Library
The Health Education Campus Library is a quiet study area, and houses the books on reserve for your courses. The check out period for these books is three days. CHSL librarians are on site to assist with your information needs. Visit the Cleveland Health Sciences Library website for circulation desk hours and information about how to use library resources and services.
Study Spaces
There are a variety of study spaces throughout Samson Pavilion. Plus, all classrooms, small- and medium-group rooms, and interview rooms are available to students when not in use—meaning you can work together on projects, student group meetings, or review for a test.
But your experience is about more than just prepping for that next test. We have Student Learning Communities on the north and south ends of our fourth floor, which include:
- Student lockers,
- Kitchenettes with refrigerators, microwaves and seating, and
- Space to lounge and study.
The primary purpose of the Health Education Campus is to support students enrolled in health profession programs. These include:
- Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing
- School of Dental Medicine
- School of Medicine, including:
- MD - University Track
- MD - Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine
- Physician Assistant Program
- Master of Science in Anesthesia Program
Students in these programs have priority access to all study, collaboration, and lounge spaces throughout the building.
CWRU and Cleveland Clinic campus community members who are not enrolled in one of the health profession programs listed above may use the first-floor atrium area only.

Student Code Of Conduct
Students based at the Health Education Campus are expected to follow the Student Code of Conduct developed by the Interprofessional Student Governance Committee.
The Code of Conduct outlines the use of common areas available to students and gives details on how students can reserve a room and make use of campus amenities.
