Other Transportation

Shuttles

A free shuttle service is available for students, faculty and staff who travel to the HEC from other parts of campus. Get details on shuttle stop locations and shuttle pickup times.

Safe Ride

In addition to the university’s Shuttle Bus Service, Safe Ride carries students, faculty and staff around campus and part of University Circle. The service is an after-hours addition to public transportation. It runs seven days a week, between 6 p.m. and 3 a.m. Security officers drive all Safe Ride vehicles.

There are several ways to request a Safe Ride: online, by phone at 216.368.3000, or via the CWRU Safe Ride App. For more information, visit the Public Safety website.

Bicycle Racks

There are two locations in the P1/JJ garage for bicycle racks:

  • Midway between north and south garages on the first floor (limited availability).
  • The south end of the south garage on the first floor (closer to Euclid Avenue); this location has more racks available than the previous location.

Bicyclists must enter and exit with extreme caution. Do not enter through the main lobby where vehicles enter the garage; the gates will NOT recognize individuals on bicycles. Instead, there are three pedestrian entrances bicyclists should use (do not enter though the main lobby on East 93rd Street/Euclid Avenue).

  • Midway between the north and south garage on East 93rd Street.
  • Midway between the north and south garage on East 90th Street.
  • The south door on East 90th Street.
